Michael Hili

A great friend from my hometown, Michael Hili has progressed from DIY theatre designer to one of the most creative Film Directors on the rise today. We have worked on dozens of projects together, sharing ideas and inspiration almost daily with our pal Dan in an erratic WhatsApp thread. Mike always brings stunning ideas to the table, often laden with ‘impossible’ technical requirements that I love to make happen with hacks, tricks and solid VFX work. I try not to take credit for his art direction and Ian Wallace’s cinematography as I’m just the tech nerd on these jobs, but below are some nice frames from clips I’ve worked on.
