The Whole of the Moon

One of my first music video collaborations - done uncredited due to conflicting arrangements at the time - this was an exercise in discovering just how low-tech VFX can be. Taking on the challenge to add composited graphics after the film shoot had been completed with no pre-planning for VFX meant hand tracking and rotoscoping many frames and working with the creative team to problem solve ways to add harmonious and purposeful content to the scene without distracting from Kirin J Callinan’s masterful performance. Not perfect, but damn fun.
