Dream Never Dies

November 2021

Another of my collaborations with Michael Hili, this project called for respectful and subtle VFX input. Mike had built a series of spectacular scale models for the shoot, and used a specialist camera to film in them to achieve a vintage look set in spaces that would have been unachievable in 1:1 scale on anything less than a Hollywood film budget. I added in tricks, flourishes, patches and polish that hopefully isn’t visible to the end viewer. Having such a great song from Lo Moon to work with was the icing on the cake.
