I was lucky to get to work with the product development team from Derive through the initial stages of UX design for their new SAAS platform. We worked from a hefty set of User Stories through journey mapping, wireframes and early visual design concepts to arrive at a simple interactive prototype. This was used for user testing and investor demonstrations, and was helpful in showing how a relatively complicated financial process could be resolved into a much easier collaborative experience with the use of solid design principles and some very smart ideas from their internal team.
